Why the calculators are grouped this way
They sit in one folder for historical reasons, but they do very different jobs. A loan calculator and a body-fat calculator have nothing in common beyond arithmetic, so they are separated here by what you would actually be doing when you need one. Each group links through to its full category, which also holds tools that live elsewhere on the site.
What they have in common
All 63 run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, there is no account and no limit on how many times you use them. Where a calculation depends on a rate or a rule that changes — a tax slab, an interest rate, a state levy — the figure is asked for rather than assumed, because a hardcoded number is wrong for most people the moment it changes.
