Introduction

This Carbohydrate Calculator helps you determine your daily carbohydrate needs based on your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). It supports various diet strategies from Keto to High Carb athletic diets.

How It Works

We use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to calculate your BMR and TDEE.

Carb Grams = (Total Calories * Carb Percentage) / 4.

Since 1g of carbohydrate = 4 kcal, the slider dynamically adjusts your intake.

FAQs

Are "Net Carbs" different?

Yes. This calculator uses Total Carbs. "Net Carbs" subtracts fiber. If you are on Keto, count Net Carbs, but use this Total Carb number as a baseline limit.

Why do athletes need more carbs?

Carbohydrates are the primary fuel source for high-intensity exercise. Glycogen stores in muscles need to be replenished for peak performance.
