How It Works
We compare your measurements against specific ratios:
- Triangle (Pear): Hips are significantly wider than shoulders.
- Inverted Triangle: Shoulders are significantly wider than hips.
- Rectangle: Shoulders, waist, and hips are roughly the same width.
- Hourglass: Shoulders and hips are balanced, with a significantly narrower waist.
How to Measure Correctly
- Shoulders: Measure the circumference around the widest part of your shoulders, wrapping the tape measure around your upper chest and back.
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.
