Merge PDF

Choose your PDFs, or drop them here Pick several at once — you can reorder them afterwards

Combining PDFs without handing them over

Most merge tools work by uploading your files to someone else's server. This one does the whole job inside your browser, which means the documents never leave your device — worth knowing when the files are bank statements, medical records or a signed agreement.

    How to use it

    • Choose or drop your PDFs. Selecting several at once is fine.
    • Reorder them with the arrows — the merged file follows the order on screen.
    • Remove anything you added by mistake with the bin icon.
    • Press merge; the finished file downloads straight away.

What is kept and what is not

Pages, text, images, links and page sizes all carry across unchanged. Bookmarks, form fields and digital signatures do not — a signature covers a specific document, so combining it with others would break the signature regardless of the tool used.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No, and on this tool that matters more than most — merged files are usually contracts, statements and certificates. The whole merge happens in your browser, so nothing is transmitted, queued or stored.

How many files can I merge?

There is no fixed limit. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, since every document is held open at once. Dozens of ordinary documents are fine; a handful of very large scans may not be.

    Can I change the order?

Yes. Use the arrows beside each file to move it up or down. The merged document follows the order shown on screen, top to bottom.

A file is password protected. What now?

Open it in any PDF reader, enter the password, and save an unlocked copy. Merging cannot read an encrypted document without its password, and this tool will say so rather than producing a broken file.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

Page content, text, images and links are kept. Bookmarks, form fields and digital signatures are not carried across — a signature would be invalidated by the merge in any case.

Do pages of different sizes cause a problem?

No. Every page keeps its own size and orientation, so mixing A4 with a scanned Letter page works. Nothing is stretched or cropped to match.

Everything on this page runs inside your own browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to a server, so your data never leaves your device.
