Type the whole quote correctly before the CPU car reaches the finish line. Your car advances along the track in proportion to how much of the text you have entered, and the race ends the moment one of the two cars gets there.
Wrong characters turn red and underlined in the text above the input box. The win only registers when every character matches the quote, so you have to backspace and correct them; there is no penalty beyond the time it costs you.
It takes the number of characters you have typed, divides by five and scales that to a minute, updating live as you type. It counts everything currently in the box, including mistakes you have not fixed yet, and no accuracy percentage is shown.
Each race uses one short quote picked at random from six built-in ones, and Race Again draws another. There is no countdown; the timer counts up, and the only deadline is the CPU car, which reaches the line after roughly a minute at its randomised pace.
