The two things that usually go wrong
Photos come out sideways, and the file comes out too big. Both have the same cause: a phone photo is not a plain picture. It carries a note saying which way up it should be, and it is far larger than any form needs. This tool reads the rotation note and turns the image the right way, and lets you bring the size down with a slider while watching the number.
Which page size to pick
- A4 for anything Indian, European or Australian — application forms, mark sheets, submissions.
- Letter for the United States and Canada.
- Page fits the image when it will only ever be looked at on a screen. No borders, no wasted white space.
Meeting an upload limit
Government and exam portals commonly cap uploads between 100 KB and 2 MB. The finished size is shown after the PDF is built, so lower the quality and rebuild until it fits. Around 60 to 70 keeps a scanned document perfectly readable while cutting the size sharply — text survives compression far better than photographs do.
Keeping documents private
The files people convert are identity documents, bank statements and certificates. Nothing here is uploaded: the reading, the drawing and the writing all happen on your own machine, and closing the tab ends it.

No. The images are read, drawn and written into a PDF inside your browser, and nothing is sent to a server. That matters because the things people convert are usually documents — Aadhaar cards, mark sheets, cheques and bills.

Fit to page keeps every sheet the same size — A4 or Letter — and places the picture inside it with a margin, which is what you want for anything to be printed or uploaded to a form. "Page fits the image" makes each page exactly the shape of its picture, with no border at all.
